How It Works

Four phases. Fully documented.

We build alongside your team, hand everything over, and make sure it runs without us.

01

Discover.

Map manual processes, identify automation candidates, and document current integrations. Weeks 1 to 2.

02

Design.

Workflow architecture, tooling selection, and integration mapping. Clear before we build. Weeks 2 to 3.

03

Build.

Automations deployed, tested, and documented. Running in your environment with monitoring. Weeks 3 to 6.

04

Maintain.

Monitoring, iteration, and continuous improvement. We fix what breaks and build what is next. Continuous.

In Practice

What this actually looks like.

01
Onboarding

HR flags a new joiner. Everything is ready before they arrive.

HR enters a start date. The workflow creates accounts, assigns licences, provisions devices, sends the welcome email, and notifies the manager. No tickets. No waiting. Three days of manual work reduced to minutes.

02
Vendor Lock-in

The feature costs six figures. You build it for a fraction.

Your vendor locks the feature behind an enterprise licence you cannot justify. We build it as a lightweight automation using your existing tools. Same outcome, no extra licensing, and you own the code.

03
AI Integration

AI reads the ticket, classifies it, and routes it. No human involved.

Support tickets arrive. AI analyses the content, assigns priority, categorises the issue, and routes it to the right team. Escalation rules run automatically. Your team handles fewer tickets and focuses on the ones that matter.

No Caveats

The honest answer to every concern.

01

Is n8n reliable enough for production?

Yes. n8n is open source, self-hosted, and runs thousands of production workflows globally. We deploy it with proper monitoring, error handling, and alerting. If a workflow fails, you know immediately. We have run n8n in production for years without issues.

02

Can you work with our existing tools?

That is the whole point. We build automations that connect the tools you already use. No migrations, no new platforms, no vendor lock-in. If your tools have an API, we can automate it. If they do not, we find another way.

03

What about AI? Is it actually useful yet?

For specific tasks, absolutely. AI is excellent at classification, summarisation, data extraction, and content generation. We embed it into workflows where it adds clear value. No experimental projects, no hype. Just practical AI that saves time.

04

What happens after you build it?

Everything is documented and handed over. You own the code, the workflows, and the infrastructure. We offer ongoing maintenance if you want it, but you are never locked in. If your team can manage it, we show them how.

Twenty minutes. We will tell you what to automate first.

Tell us where the manual work is. We will tell you exactly what to automate and how long it takes.

FAQ

Automation Questions

Quick answers to the things people ask most about workflow automation and AI integration.

What is AI workflow automation?

AI workflow automation means putting a language model inside a normal automated process, not replacing the process with a chatbot. The workflow still has defined triggers, steps and audit records. The AI handles the parts that used to need a person reading something: classifying a request, extracting data from a document, drafting a reply, or summarising a thread.

What should we automate first?

Start with joiners and leavers. It runs constantly, it touches identity, devices and licences, and getting it wrong costs you security and money. After that, ticket routing and approval chains give the next clearest return because both are pure waiting time today.

Who supports the automation after it is built?

You choose. Everything we build is documented and handed over so your team can own it, and we can stay on for monitoring, fixes and changes as your systems move. There is no lock-in either way, and we do not hold the credentials hostage.

Why not just buy an automation platform?

A platform gives you the plumbing, not the logic. The cost sits in working out what your process actually is, where your data lives, and how the systems authenticate to each other. We build on tools you already own or on n8n and Python, so you are not paying enterprise licensing for workflows you could run yourself.

Do you build custom Python automation scripts?

Yes. When no-code tools like n8n cannot handle the logic, we write custom Python scripts. Common uses include data transformation, API integrations with complex authentication, scheduled jobs, and connecting legacy systems. Python runs on your servers, in AWS Lambda, or as Azure Functions.

Can you build serverless automations with AWS Lambda?

Absolutely. Serverless is ideal for event-driven automation that needs to scale: processing webhooks, transforming data between systems, or running scheduled tasks. We build, deploy, and maintain Lambda functions that integrate with your existing infrastructure. Pay only for what you use.

What can you automate with n8n?

Common automations include user onboarding and offboarding, ticket routing, alert escalation, report generation, and integrations between tools that do not natively connect.

What is the difference between workflow automation and managed IT?

Managed IT is ongoing support: helpdesk, monitoring, incident response. Workflow Automation and AI is engineering: building custom tools, scripts, AI integrations, internal apps, and automations that eliminate manual work. Many clients use both together.

Can you build governance features our vendor will not sell us?

Yes. If the feature you need is locked behind an enterprise SKU you cannot justify, we build it at a fraction of the cost. We have delivered governance controls, approval workflows, and audit tooling that works on your existing licensing.

How much does automation cost?

It depends on complexity. Simple n8n workflows might be a few days of work. Custom Python tooling or org remapping software is typically a 2 to 4 week engagement. A typical automation project runs £4,000 to £20,000 (or $5,000 to $25,000) depending on scope. We scope everything before quoting.

Can you integrate AI into our existing workflows?

Yes. We embed AI into n8n and Python workflows for whatever use case fits: document processing, data enrichment, content generation, classification, automated responses, or summarisation. AI slots into your existing workflows rather than requiring a new platform.

Can you build internal tools and custom apps?

Yes. We build lightweight internal tools and edge-case applications using AI-assisted development. Think approval portals, data dashboards, onboarding wizards, or audit interfaces. Built fast, documented, and handed over.
