Work starts about two to three weeks after the first call. All times are estimates.

    We talk it through with you, and take longer if it needs it.

  3. About a week

    We send a scope.

    What you need, written down. For software, a quote with a statement of work.

  4. One to two weeks

    Agree it together.

    We adjust the scope with you, paragraph by paragraph, until it is right.

  5. A few weeks

    We deliver it.

    We do the work, remotely or on site, and stay in touch on Slack or Teams.

  6. Ongoing

    We look after it.

    We maintain it under warranty, or manage or co-manage your IT from then on.

How quickly can you start?

After the first call, we send a scope in about a week. We agree it with you over one to two weeks, then start. Most projects are live within a few weeks.

What does the first month actually look like?

In week one we audit your stack. In week two you get a scoped proposal with deliverables. Engineering starts in weeks three and four, so you have tangible output in 30 days.

Can you just do one service?

Yes. Each service stands alone. Most clients start with one, usually IAM or device management, and expand when they see the results.

What if we already have an MSP?

We run alongside your current MSP for specialist work while you evaluate. In most cases, clients move everything to us once they see the difference.

Do we need to replace our existing tools?

Almost never. We work with what you already use, including Okta, Entra ID, Jamf, Fleet, Intune, Google Workspace, Slack and 200+ other vendors. If a change makes sense, we explain why first.

Do you offer onsite support or just remote?

Both. We do most day-to-day support remotely, because it is faster. In London, we send engineers on site at day rates for office moves, new starters and infrastructure projects. For US clients, we arrange local field support.

Is Volobyte an Apple reseller?

No. We are an Apple Technical Partner. We set up, secure and manage Mac fleets with Iru, Jamf, Mosyle and Fleet, and Windows devices with Microsoft Intune or Fleet.

Can you help with AI adoption?

Yes. We assess where AI adds genuine value to your workflows, help you adopt the right tools, and train your team. AI strategy is included in our Fractional CIO service.
